RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT: BIOSCIENCES, Switzerland.
  • Client: The R+D Centre of a leading tobacco company whose international Headquarters are located in Switzerland.
  • Fonctions : The primary mission of the R+D Centre is to research and develop a new generation of products which may have the potential to reduce the risks of smoking. A key strategy is to develop the ability to qualify, quantify and manage the level of health risk associated with each new tobacco product.
  • Qualités : The following senior level positions are required:
    • CLINICAL STUDY LEADER: within the Clinical Research Department, Scientific Product Assessment, responsible for defining the clinical study plans for assigned product and leading study teams for the scientific/clinical aspects of assigned studies. The individual will be a research oriented MD, PharmaD or PhD in Human Biology with a minimum of 5 years international experience in industry-driven Clinical Research involving GCP trials in a Pharma, Biotech, CRO or equivalent company.
    • MOLECULAR BIOLOGIST: Cardiovascular Disease (CVD): within the Disease Mechanisms Investigation Department, Scientific Product Assessment, responsible for building internal research capability in CVD for the evaluation of risk reduction of new products with respect to CVD. The individual will have a PhD in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry with a minimum of 10 years post PhD experience.
    • MOLECULAR EPIDEMIOLOGIST: part of a team of Behavioural and Clinical Epidemiologists and Statisticians working on the scientific evaluation of product risk. Responsible for the design, coordination and analysis of molecular epidemiological studies. The individual will have a PhD in Biostatistics or Epidemiology with a minimum of 3 years experience in molecular epidemiology in an industrial research setting.
DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE: TRUST MANAGEMENT COMPANY Geneva, Switzerland
  • Client : A dynamic successful and profitable Trust Management company established in Geneva since 1996. The company specialises in providing structures (Trusts, offshore companies, etc.) for its clients through which their businesses are run. Clients are predominantly English speaking, strong Anglo-Saxon origins, entrepreneurial in nature.
  • Function : The Deputy Chief Executive is a new position created to manage the operations of the Trust Company, to drive the company's expansion plans and to provide succession for the current Chief Executive. The individual will work with the current Chief Executive and will have the potential to assume the leadership of the company as Chief Executive in a 2 to 3 year period.
  • Requirements : A comprehensive understanding of the technical requirements of the off-shore trust business and associated structures, including off-shore companies. Strong knowledge of Anglo- Saxon Trust Law and Practice with ideally a knowledge of the Asian Market. An experienced Business Manager and Business Developer with ideally a current network of client relationships to bring to the company. Ideally aged mid 40's, entrepreneurial in character, client facing, fluent in English. Equity participation is envisaged as part of the remuneration package.
PRIVATE BANKER -FIANCIAL ADVISOR: MAJOR BANK: Geneva, Zurich, London or as appropriate
  • Client: a major International Private Banking Group with offices worldwide. Key markets: Switzerland, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Latin America.
  • Function : To develop and manage a private client asset base for a particular client / geographic region. Responsible for private client relationships reporting to the Head of the particular regional operations. Will pro-actively develop high net -worth private client asset / liability relationships by cross-selling the range of the banks investment products.
  • Requirements: An experienced Private Banker / Relationship Manger with a relevant high net- worth private client asset base and / or a prospect contact network in a particular client / geographic area. A marketing self-starter with a strong, competitive determination to succeed. Excellent remuneration including performance bonus on revenue generation.
